SkyReels V4 is a video generation model with two tiers: Fast (speed-first) and Std (quality-first). It supports text-to-video, image-to-video with keyframes, and Omni mode with reference images and videos.

Should I use Fast or Std?

Fast is great for previews, batch generation, and casual content. Std produces higher visual quality at ~30% more credits — use it for hero shots and final delivery.

What does the @tag system do?

When you use mid_frame_images, ref_images, or ref_videos, each must declare a tag like @Actor-1 or @video1. The same tag must also appear in the prompt — that's how SkyReels knows which reference to apply where in the scene.

Can I mix I2V and Omni fields?

No. I2V fields (first_frame_image, end_frame_image, mid_frame_images) and Omni fields (ref_images, ref_videos) are strictly mutually exclusive. Combining them returns 422.

What's the difference between ref_videos type=reference and type=extend?

Reference: copies action/style from an input video, duration is overridden by the video length (max 10s), can combine with ref_images. Extend: extends an existing video by your requested duration, cannot combine with ref_images.

What resolutions are supported?

480p, 720p, and 1080p. Higher resolutions cost more credits per second.

How does pricing work?

Cost depends on model (Fast or Std), resolution, duration, and whether you use ref_videos (which adds ~70% to base rate). A 5s 1080p Fast video costs roughly 200 credits.

How long does generation take?

Most generations finish in 30-90 seconds. The Std model takes slightly longer than Fast. You can leave the page and check your history later.
